Two or more one-time college scholarships are being considered by the IPLAC Educational Foundation. The scholarships for 2019 may be as much as $5,000 each. The deadline for application for this year’s scholarships is March 31, 2019. The IPLAC Educational Foundation has been organized by the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago for the purpose of funding and awarding scholarships to youths who attend Chicago public high schools and will major in a science, engineering or pre-law program in college.

IPLAC Educational Foundation thanks IPLAC and the law firms, individuals, and companies that support and contribute to the Foundation. Since its founding in 1991 by IPLAC leaders and members wanting to encourage and support CPS students in the study of science, engineering, and law, the Foundation has provided 78 scholarships totaling more than $360,000 to deserving CPS students.


Foundation Life Fellows. Law firms and companies achieve Life Fellow status through making $5,000 or more in total cumulative donations to the Foundation. Individuals achieve Life Fellow status through making $500 or more in total cumulative donations to the Foundation.
