IPLAC Law School Outreach presents:

IP SPEED MENTORING

Date:

April 10, 2019

IPLAC, in conjunction with the Chicago Intellectual Property Alliance, is sponsoring another opportunity for JD law students to meet IP attorneys from different practice areas in a relatively short period of time. Students have the opportunity to interact with and receive advice from more than a dozen attorneys during the speed mentoring portion in small groups. Students can follow up with attorneys during the general session and potentially meet other attorneys as well.  Speed mentoring will be open to a limited group to ensure adequate interaction with attorneys.  Registered students will receive a full list of participating attorneys in advance of the event.

Confirmed “speed mentoring” attorneys include:

Louise Arnott, Michael Best & Friedrich
John Augustyn, Leydig, Voit & Meyer

The Law School Outreach Committee warmly welcomes all IPLAC attorneys to attend the general reception to maximize opportunities for students to meet more attorneys.  In addition, the Committee is in the process of finalizing the attorney speed mentors to provide a balanced and different group than recent speed mentoring events.  In the meantime, any attorney interested in being a speed mentor is welcome to RSVP for the speed mentoring portion as well to indicate an interest.
